G Suite Administrators: Troubleshoot your Google G Suite Apps Marketplace issues
This FAQ article explains how administrators can troubleshoot: GroupCamp installation issues in a G Suite domain from the Google G Suite Apps Marketplace; How to solve G Suite and GroupCamp configuration, sync or communication errors.
When a GroupCamp account is associate with a G Suite domain, if you are a GroupCamp administrator, you must have:
- The G Suite app in the GroupCamp Users menu
- The G Suite icon with an associated domain in your GroupCamp Admin panel
- The G Suite portlet in your personal Dashboard (Home > Overview > Dashboard)
This is not the case? You must associate your GroupCamp account with you G Suite domain.
Go the Admin panel and click on the G Suite icon.
Click on the G Suite Administrator link to open the Google window. Select a G Suite user with the Super Admin role in your domain.
Need to change the ID of your Super Admin? Click on the Update link.
Go to the Users > G Suite app.
Use the contextual menu of a user and select the Sync choice.
- If your sync is successfull: communication between Google and GroupCamp is OK.
- If not, keep your error messages and let's go on.
When you have verified previous points within your GroupCamp account and you always cannot create or sync users from your G Suite domain, this means that you must verify your G Suite domain configuration.
Sign into your G Suite Admin console. In the Apps menu, click on the Marketplace apps, then click on GroupCamp.
- GroupCamp app must be listed in your Marketplace apps.
- GroupCamp must be ON for everyone or ON for some organizations.
In the G Suite Admin console, click on the GroupCamp app.
Check that Data access is Granted.
Some customers told us that they had to re-grant Data access for this to be reflected in GroupCamp.
In your G Suite Admin console, go in the Security menu.
Verify that Enable API access is checked.
In the G Suite Admin console, go in the Users menu, search for the ID you have used as Super Admin in your GroupCamp account.
Check the user has the Super Admin role in your G Suite Admin console.
When you have verified your GroupCamp and G Suite setup. Try to re-install GroupCamp in your G Suite domain.
> Go to the GroupCamp Admin Panel and click on the G Suite icon.
Click on the Dissociate link.
In your G Suite Admin console, use the Remove App button on the GroupCamp app.

When you arrive to the Welcome to GroupCamp screen, enter your GroupCamp URL and click on the Associate button.
